Terms of Use - Help Site

1. Purpose of the Website
The website is designed to provide children and teenagers with a safe, supportive, and non‑judgmental space where they can share thoughts, feelings, and personal experiences.
The website offers general emotional support as well as support in difficult situations, including listening, encouragement, guidance, and suggestions for coping.
The website does not provide professional therapy and does not replace a psychologist, school counselor, or any certified mental‑health professional.

2. Age of Use
The website is intended for children and teenagers up to age 18 or until the end of 12th grade — whichever comes later.
Use of the website beyond this age is not permitted.

3. Registration and Use of the Website
• Use of the website requires parental/guardian approval.
• During registration, only basic information about the child is collected, such as name, phone number, or email address — if available.
• If the child does not have a phone or email, a parent’s phone number may be entered solely to complete the registration process.
• The website does not collect parent information for ongoing use and does not use it for emotional purposes or monitoring.

4. Privacy and Data Protection
• The website protects the child’s privacy and does not share personal or emotional information with third parties.
• Emotional information shared by the child will not be sent to parents unless the child explicitly agrees and provides the details themselves.

5. Support Method on the Website
The website provides emotional support based on:
• Active listening
• Encouragement and emotional reinforcement
• Suggestions for coping based on what the child shares
• Sensitive, respectful, and non‑judgmental communication
• General guidance for healthy coping
• Support in all emotional situations, including difficult or ongoing ones
• Providing a sense of safety, belonging, and understanding
• Offering general solutions based on the child’s description and the website’s support abilities
The website makes a genuine effort to help, listen, guide, and support — even in high‑intensity emotional situations —
but it is important to clarify:
The website does not perform diagnosis, does not provide professional treatment, does not give medical or psychological therapeutic instructions, and does not replace a psychologist, counselor, or any certified professional.
All support provided is emotional support only, not therapy.

6. Basic Support Monitoring
The website performs basic supportive monitoring of the child’s messages in order to:
• Understand their emotional state
• Identify changes over time
• Improve the quality of support
• Provide consistent and more suitable responses
This monitoring is supportive only and does not constitute:
• Diagnosis
• Professional treatment
• Creation of an emotional file
• Medical or psychological monitoring
The information is used solely to help the child more effectively.

7. Safety and Child Protection
• The website supports children even in difficult emotional situations but does not replace professional help.
• In cases of high emotional distress, the team may encourage the child to reach out to a responsible adult or a professional.
• The website will not contact parents without the child’s consent.

8. Support Messages and Emails
• Support responses are sent to the email address the child enters in the form, without the website knowing who owns the email.
• If the child enters a parent’s email — the parent will receive the responses, as that is the email provided.
• If the child does not want the parent to receive the responses, they must enter their own personal email.
• If the child does not have an email, they may create a new one for receiving support messages.
• The website sends responses only to the email address entered.
